Design new and interesting experiences for software users. Create layouts and graphics with designer tools and applications. Analyze the problem domain for themes and patterns and apply styles. Preference will be given to designers with a background in fine arts and experience using computer-based graphics design packages. Experience with XAML is helpful but not necessary. Will train.
Provide simple to complex statistical analyses on very large data sets. Candidate must have experience developing optimization and simulation models and have working knowledge of neural network techniques. Preference will be given to statisticians with pratical knowledge in machine learning and experience in MatLab, Hugin, and/or one or more functional programming languages.
Analyze requirements, construct prototypes, write code, and perform testing. Candidate must have substantial experience in the C# programming language and related technologies. Preference will be given to developers with declarative programming experience. Familiarity with vector graphics, functional programming, and geo-spatial application development is helpful but not necessary. Will train.
Design, develop, populate, optimize, and maintain Oracle 10g and 11g data mart and warehouse environments across multiple domains of expertise. Implement analytical approaches to ensure data quality and reveal interesting patterns. Candidates must have solid experience evaluating information needs, normalizing and denormalizing data structures, and writing SQL. Preference will be given to experts having specific knowledge of emissions monitoring of coal-fired power plants. Familiarity with advanced data mining, replication techniques, and package scripting is helpful. Working knowledge of spatial data types and operators is a plus.
